The CLM-130MF is Couleenergy’s 130W ETFE flexible solar panel, designed for installations where a conventional glass module is simply not practical. Lightweight, durable, and easy to install, it combines Back Contact (BC) solar cell technology with a premium ETFE laminate to deliver reliable power on curved and weight-sensitive surfaces.

Unlike traditional front-contact cells, Back Contact (BC) cells place all electrical contacts on the rear of the cell. This leaves the entire front surface exposed to sunlight, creating a clean all-black appearance while improving light capture. It also provides better performance under partial shading caused by roof vents, air conditioners, antennas, masts, or other obstacles commonly found on RVs, boats, and mobile power systems.

The ETFE front sheet is engineered for long-term outdoor use. It resists UV degradation, salt spray, moisture, and dirt buildup far better than standard PET laminates, helping maintain power output in demanding environments. Combined with a flexible laminate structure, the panel also withstands vibration and movement during transportation, making it well suited for mobile and off-grid applications.

To meet different durability requirements, the CLM-130MF is available in both 5-layer and 9-layer laminate constructions. The 5-layer version minimizes weight for RVs, camper vans, trailers, and portable solar systems, while the reinforced 9-layer design offers greater mechanical strength for marine installations and other harsh operating environments.
